Benito G. Carabajal

Benito Carabajal passed away in Brownfield, TX November 19, 2023 at the age of 93 with complications from being ill for a short time.  He was born in Helena City, Texas to Adolfo and Isidra Carabajal in 1930.  On August 28th, 1950 he married his sweetheart in Mathis, Texas.  They were married for 73 years and raised five children.  They moved from Brownfield to Andrews, Texas in 1973.  Benito worked at Andrews Hichschool for 19 years and retired in 1993.  He lived a quiet life.  He was a church going person.  He was a Member of the Church of Christ.  He loved to sing at church.  He is preceded in death by his parents Aldofo & Isidra and one sister Sulema.  He is survived by his five children Orania & husband Simon Barrientes from Andrews.  Margalita & husband Albert Nave from Andrews.  Maria & husband Rudy Perez from Brownsfield Texas and sons Rudy & David from Andrews.  Brother Calistro from San Antonio Texas, Sister Francisca from Fort Worth Texas, Brothers Anetacio and Jesus from Ulysses, Kansas and Sister Rosa Flores from Ioia, Texas.  Along with 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Services are scheduled for November 24, 2023 at Andrews Corgill Funeral Home, 201 NE. 1st St., Andrews, Texas from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.  Graveside services will follow
