We joyfully announce the entering of the Kingdom with our beloved son, brother, father, uncle, & friend, Mario Legarda. He entered into the Pearly Gates on July 23, 2020. In man’s eyes his death was tragic, unfair & too soon, but God’s timing is not our timing. Mario was a father of two beautiful children, Liam and Lariza of whom he loved so much that words can’t describe. His hearts’ desire was to clean up his life and go back to his kids to be the best father he could be. Mario will be missed every day by his father Samuel Legarda, mother Sylvia Orozco, sister Claudia Rodriguez, brother Samuel Legarda Jr., nieces Nayeli Aermosillo & Zdenka Gonzalez, his step brother Pedro and sister Priscilla Paredes, many more family members and friends.
We know that Mario is now walking the streets of gold with our Savior in Heaven. He has finished the race like a soldier. He is the prodigal son that has come home with his father.
For all that have met Mario know that he was a talented artist and hard worker he was always willing to help out and loves to build things. He had many talents and gifts, but his heart was more valuable than anything. He was the most kind and giving person you could ever meet. He would give it all for those who crossed his path sometimes his generous heart would get him into trouble. But, no matter what, he didn’t change who he was at his core. He was a leader who always made friends wherever he would go. All he had to do was look at you with his beautiful eyes and smile and he would win you over. For those that looked past his mistakes, they would find an admirable man who never spoke ill of anyone; a soldier who would fight in the front lines to save you. That to me he is an example of honor in ways that you could only see through a discerning heart. The enemy thought he could destroy him and us through this tragedy, but we rise up and declare that through Mario LaGuardia’s death, many will be saved for the glory of God. If you know Mario and all that he went through you would see why the enemy wanted to take him out and that’s because he was blessed with the grace of God who protected him in miraculous ways. Although, this time He chose to give Mario rest from the ongoing battle and to embrace him with all his presence for eternity. Celebrate with us now that our beloved is with the Lord and no longer in pain.
