Wilma Lee Jefferson

Wilma Lee Jefferson age 93, of Andrews, Texas passed from life Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the Permian Region Care Center in Andrews, Texas.

Family and friends are gathering at the Andrews Corgill Funeral Home in Andrews, Texas from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, February 20, 2024 for visitation.  A graveside service will be conducted at the Andrews County North Cemetery at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 21, 2024.  Wilma was born January 29, 1931 in Security, Texas to Andy and Lena Tise.  She was the second of six children.  She was married to Ed Wesley Jefferson on September 15, 1948.  She was a hardworking, kindhearted woman who devoted her life to raising her two children.  She was a member of the Eastern Star Organization and was an active participant with her daughter in the Rainbow Girls Youth Group in Andrews, Texas.  Following her husband's death in 2004 she devoted herself to family with her home being the gathering spot during family holidays.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and will be deeply missed by all.  Wilma is survived by her son: Gary Jefferson and wife Linda of Odessa, Texas; daughter: Tanya Schnell and husband Gerald of Andrews, Texas, brothers: David Tise of Houston, Texas and Kenneth Tise of Houston, Texas,  Grandchildren: Shana Hillery, Jennifer Smith, Charla Coats; Great Grandchildren: Triston Williams, Zhana Williams, Natalee Hillery, Madison Williams, Marcus Hillery, Cash Coats, Canyon Coats, Brayden Smith, Bailey Smith; Great Great grandchildren: Alaysha George, Leilani George, and Augustine Williams.
